Students With Emotional Problems

Students With Emotional Problems

Emotional problems and disorders can be predictors for failure, delinquency, adult psychiatric problems, and substance abuse.
One of the characteristics of EBD students is that they always lie about their homework, they don't even tell the truth about why do they really ignore it. They also find it hard to find joy in anything, they are not used to laughing and getting fun at their houses especially with their families. they are always serious and angry because they are only get used to this at home, and they always judge themselves without mercy, because they are used to be blamed by their parents, and they think that they are the center of every problem. they feeling of being different than their friendsis something they're famous by. The causes may be different some of it is that parents are drugs addict, or because they violate their kids, financial situation, authority, child used as pawn...
Teachers should help students to establish positive peer relationships, make learning relevant to motivate the students, teach them behavior management skills, and help student cope with stress.
